BTM Company is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating CNC equipment to produce quality parts and support daily production.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience who are interested in developing their skills in machining and advancing within a production environment.
Position Overview
The Machine Operator loads and unloads parts, runs CNC machine cycles, and performs quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Load parts and fixtures into CNC machines
- Start and monitor machine cycles
- Perform quality checks on finished parts
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed
- Monitor tooling condition and identify wear
- Report non-conforming material or production issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality (QMS) requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- CNC machining experience preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and work performance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Education
- High school diploma or GED
